In part 1 of this video series, Cristi and I answer the number 1 question we get, How to get into information security? How can I land a job in infosec? We talk about our backgrounds. What has worked for us and what we see trending in the industry. I provided knowledge as a season professional in the field while Cristi provides insight into what it is like being new in the field. We discuss resources to assist you in your job path. We then wrap up with some career path options that are available in this field that may be of interest to you. While these steps may not fit everyone these are the general steps you can start to look at to make some decisions in how you you want to proceed to get into this field. Let us know what are some of your roadblocks that you are facing. The industry is hurting for highly trained and smart people to join the workforce. Companies treat their employees better than ever so turn over is low shrinking the market for talent even more. It is the employees market right now.
